Formerly known as Challenge Access UK a change of direction led to a change of image and re – branding in early 2004 to become Total Access Solutions Ltd – this represents the culmination of the difference of our access scaffolding services.


Total Access Solutions describes the company to what it does best – provides solutions for safe access whether that be underground or 500ft in the air.

The company was incepted in 1995 and still enjoys the same senior management from day one , which encompasses experience in all normal and complex access requirements.

We enjoy preferential supplier status from many national and blue chip companies to which we can offer a truly nationwide, 24 hour, seven day a week service.

With reliability of sub – contract scaffolders being the gripes of many contractors we aim to offer a service which is

1995

Formation of Challenge Scaffolding – 3 men and one lorry
1996

8 Men + 2 lorrys turnover hits £250K
1997

15 Men + 5 Vehicles turnover of £490K
1998
  Nationwide service offered to the leisure industry
1999
  Services extended with regular crews in London and Surrey and other areas of the UK by arrangement , steady growth ensures no overtrading.
2000
  Millennium year turnover hits £750K and sees satellite facilities being established in London and Birmingham , still maintained to this day to service on going clients and new contracts.
2001
   New offices and Yard facility's in Bexhill , sees start of contract four court access solutions to BP across the UK
2002
  New contracts manager taken on to run Civil and construction industry areas , company secures its first major works package valued at circa £200K , sees in depth training underway for staff to be CSCS compliant , labour now stands at 30 on site and 5 in office , estimating , contracts etc.
2003
  Successful year sees 2 contracts totaling£560K awarded to Challenge , labour hits 50+ in the summer , a change of direction is sought and Challenge starts to invest in Logistics which sees major fleet replacement with new vehicles , bigger head office facilities taken on and 90% staff now CSCS compliant by September 2003.
2004
  To symbolise what challenge does best as a company , a re organisation of the company is undertaken and the re-branding to TOTAL ACCESS SOLUTIONS

  Will be a good year for Total Access a true UK service provider.
